Just visited Turtle Bay restaurant with my son and granddaughter. They thought the salmon and ribs were OK. Unfortunately I had the goat curry, which was far from authentic and was tough.

If you go to Turtle Bay Sheffield, go for the atmosphere (it was very busy). Go for the cocktails, which even at 2-for-1 during happy hour I thought expensive. Don't go for the food if you are anticipating anything near Caribbean food. Very disappointing.

Had a family meal for my wife's birthday and I can honestly say it's the best Chinese food we have eaten in a long time. Lovely atmosphere, very clean 5-star rated. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. You must try the salt and pepper ribs, they are amazing. We will definitely be back.

Never be going again, nor shall I be recommending this establishment.

Don't go in here if you are a group, as I've found out to my horror, as you are not welcome.

Our group of 4 went in and ordered off the early bird menu. (So not too late in the evening.)

We had a starter and main course, and a couple of Belgian Blue beers.

I can only assume it was one of the management team who approached our table and asked us to leave, as the staff are not happy to serve us.

This was a total shock, as we were nothing but polite, with please and thank yous, and the utmost respect for our waitress, Claudia. When we asked why I was not given an answer as to what we had done to offend anyone.

Still in shock as to the decision. I can only think they want couples in the establishment and not groups, to which I would say there are plenty of other places to eat nearby.

Used to come here with my partner and stepson quite a lot. We came in today (Saturday 9th December), the food was absolutely disgusting. The kids lasagne did not have cheese sauce on it, just grated cheese; the onion rings were under cooked; the lasagne (adult) was over cooked. We also had an all-day breakfast; the hash browns looked like they had been reheated from lunchtime.

When I complained, the manager gave me a refund for one meal, but because she had already gone into the till to refund the lasagne it wouldn't let her go back in and refund the rest. Manager offered us dessert for 3 adults and 1 child, which was nice. We will not be eating here again.

I was looking forward to Chicken and King Prawn Pad Thai. Being health conscious I did ask if they could leave out the sugar. It's pre-mixed I was told. Ok, go with that. However, ONE King prawn - seriously? Thin shreds of tasteless chicken and NO satay sauce taste whatsoever, just an over-sweet taste. Very disappointing indeed. All for over £6. Not authentic, as I have been to Thailand twice and eaten the street food Pad Thai.

Was recommended this place. Was my mum's birthday and she wanted Chinese. Ordered £50 worth of food. Was told about 40 minutes. 2 hours later it arrived. All except one dish was cold! Annoyed is not the word... absolutely disgusted! Birthday treat spoilt!

Went about 2 years ago for the first time. It was nice and we went to town on Saturday 1st December with our grandkids for a X-mas night out. There were 10 altogether. We were going to call to Butlers Balti but didn't, as Shapla is near to where we were.

Arrived at 8-ish. Waited for a table, not a problem. Was seated then left alone, then gave order. Everything seemed to be a bit disorganised. Sat and waited to be asked if we wanted a drink. Got one after 20 minutes. Then food came. OMG I have never had a chicken tikka masala like that. It was very runny, full of egg and loads of uncooked tomatoes and has raw sliced peppers in it, and very oily. I counted 5 lumps of chicken. My hubby had bhuna. He said it was tasteless, just bland.

And the price was £89.00 for 5 of us. Very disappointed indeed. Should have gone to Butlers Balti now, but I won't be going to Shapla again. I am not a fussy person but it was terrible. I don't think they will bat an eyelid at my review, as every one loves it, but we didn't.

The staff here are the nicest, most helpful young people. They are always pleasant and nothing is too much trouble for them. I go every week with the gentlemen I look after and the staff always make them welcome.

Ordered meal, when it came it was wrong. Then steak arrived. Asked for medium rare, when it came it looked like a piece of coal, more than well done. Last four times been to Fairways were always poor. Won't be back again. Crap.

Lovely elderly lady behind the bar, run off her feet. She was the best thing in there.

The meal we had was OK because it isn't a top restaurant, it's a pub. The problem we both have is that we don't drink alcohol because of our health, so we have a pint of water each, topped with a splash of diluted orange, which has already been diluted. They probably bought it for 30p for a litre bottle. The cost of the drinks were £2.50, so that is £1.25 for a drip of the cheapest diluted orange going. The profit margin they make off disabled people is scandalous, and my wife and me will never go in there again

P.S. while we where eating our meal we watched how two women complained about everything, just so they could get a refund, and it worked. Me personally would have told them to leave without nothing. The Milestone was scammed.

The Peacock is my favourite place to eat. The food is exceptional. I have been many times and the quality is always the same.

I am a vegetarian and my favourite meal on a Sunday is the nut wellington, served with vegetables, roast potatoes, a large a Yorkshire pudding and vegetarian gravy in a jug. The sweets are all vegetarian and equally as good. The wine is very good, too! Win win every time.

The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It is best to book, especially on bank holidays.

Non-vegetarians have a a good choice of meats and fish.

As a table of 18 all needs were met. Chef was on his own but still managed to get 18 meals out within good time so we could all eat together. Waitress was also alone and was great at customer service and checking we were all OK.

Brilliant food also, definitely recommend.

We have been for a meal for our granddaughter's graduation and the service was awful, plus my main meal was cold.

I didn't complain, as I didn't want to upset my daughter, who had booked the meal for 10 of us, and afterwards half of us said the same as me and my husband - awful!

The place where we were sat was freezing, they had to bring heaters in for us.

I was so incensed and baffled when I came across the reviews on this site for the Amraj restaurant at Beighton that I had to respond.

Barbara and I have visited many Indian restaurants and can vouch, that in our opinion, this is by far the best. Many of our friends have been introduced to this dining experience and in every case they are in full agreement with our assessment. The manager is "hands on" taking orders, waiting on tables, and has been involved in the cooking on occasions. He is a delightful personality who takes time to chat with his customers, making them feel welcome and more like close friends.

The exterior and the car park are in need of some attention, something which the restaurant intends to address in the near future, the interior however is tastefully and comfortably furnished without the pseudo "Indian" embellishments nor the overwhelming Indian music pervading the atmosphere.

I sincerely hope this review goes some way toward redressing the balance of some earlier reviews, as I fail to understand how their criticisms were arrived at.

Had a lovely meal tonight. The food was delicious and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Thank you Tony for being so friendly over the years and always so warm and friendly.

I have been here many times and always satisfied. I like to try different meals. Last night I choose king prawn tikka saggy, only when it came it wasn't prawns but crayfish or banana prawn. I think when I ordered maybe you should have explained so that I could have had the option weather or not to order, as I think anything other than actual prawns are tasteless and I didn't really enjoy my meal, although their garlic naan is to die for.
