Musiquita en Vivo at La Mama

Latin and jazz vocalist Sally Doherty returns to La Mama on Saturday 27th June. A renowned singer-songwriter who has performed nationwide and throughout Europe, Sally will this evening perform songs from her impressive Latin and jazz repertoire.

Inspired by such jazz singers as Chet Baker, Nina Simone and Billy Holiday and Brazilian singers Joao Gilberto, Elis Regina and Maria Creuza, Sally will be performing Brazilian bossa nova and samba, Mexican and Cuban boleros, amongst other Latin American and jazz styles.

Music on the evening starts from 7PM, please call 0114 3279597 to reserve a table.


All Bar One Added

We have added a basic listing for All Bar One at 13-15 Leopold Street in the centre of Sheffield. All Bar One serves modern British cuisine.



East One Noodle Bar Removed

We have removed East One Noodle Bar, formerly of Unit 13 in West One Plaza in the city centre, as it has closed an been replaced by another Chinese restaurant, Han, which we will add shortly.


Smith & Baker Dining Room Added

We have added a basic listing for Smith & Baker Dining Room at 371-373 Ecclesall Road. This is the latest restaurant from local chef Richard Smith and is a collaboration with fellow chef Jack Baker. The eatery features a daily menu with seasonal produce and a European slant.


Arusuvai Added

We have added a basic listing for Arusuvai restaurant at 92-94 Middlewood Road in Hillsborough. Arusuvai serves South Indian cuisine.


Relish Restaurant Removed

We have removed Relish restaurant, formerly of 371-373 Ecclesall Road in Sharrow, as it has closed to make way for owner Richard Smith's new eatery, Smith & Baker Dining Room, which we will add shortly.


Bank Holiday Salsa at Cubana

Cubana tapas restaurant is hosting two "salsa spectaculars" in Leopold Square, one each bank holiday weekend in May.

The live music and dance fiestas will run from 5PM until 10PM and are free to attend. Guests will be entertained by a live salsa band and DJ, and receive free salsa lessons and dance demos.

At night the fun continues inside Cubana from 10PM until 2AM with a "Barrio Latino Bank Holiday Special Fiesta" featuring top Latin DJs playing over two floors.

The events take place Sunday 3rd May and Sunday 24th May.
