Events In November At La Mama

La Mama Latin American restaurant in Nether Edge has announced a number of live music nights for November 2011:

November 9th: Paul Newman - wonderfully talented local singer/guitarist who performs from an impressive repertoire of Latin and jazz classics, bossa nova, Cuban son and songs from the last century.

November 16th: Son Para Todos - popular Sheffield Latin band that creatively fuse Latin rhythms with Columbian salsa, Spanish flamenco and Cuban son.

November 23rd: The Broken Strings - Tom from The Broken Strings performs his take on flamenco, a sound perfected through recent travels and experiences in Latin America.

November 30th: Mojito - exciting and energetic Cuban salsa band who mix traditional Cuban musical elements with more contemporary sounds - tonight performing double bass and piano.
