Meals arrived but not as described on menu.

Lunch time - meal 1 naan bread instead of pita bread with chicken breast. Mediterranean salad consisted of few pathetic leaves only.

Meal 2 dirty chicken strips with melted cheese on chips, which were cut into small pieces rather than strips as stated (obviously to look more).

Meal 3 was reasonable but not great.

Overpriced for what they were. Would have expected the dirty chicken strips would have cost no more than £1.50 to produce (if that) and was £9.50.

Disgusting and extortionate. Wouldn't recommend or revisit.

First time visit with a party of 7 for Sunday lunch. The menu was extensive with meals for all tastes. Service spot on and very friendly. Will be back.

Came to the Peacock today and not too pleased with service. We were not told we had to order from the bar. When we ordered they only had only 2 of the fish meals left and this was at 1:15PM. So one of our group had to order something else.

To me this is bad ordering on kitchen staff. Don't think the girl that served us was very well trained, either.

Won't be returning. It's a shame, as this pub used to be good.

We went for a quiz night and it was amazing. The food was great and the entertainment was spot on.

The new owner has really turned this place around! Decorated beautifully, the food is brilliant and very good value and the staff are friendly.

Really great food! Lovely service too, all of the staff couldn't do enough and we brought our dog who was welcomed as much as we was.

We had 2 for £10 and honestly, I can't believe the quality to say how cheap it was.

Been a while since I’ve been but the pub is freshly decorated and is lovely inside.

Will definitely be back and will be recommending to friends and family.

Two meals for £10 during the daytime is a bargain in anyone's books! Fish and chips was beautiful and you can tell it's fresh fish. Partner had hunter's chicken, which was also great. Will definitely be back soon.

Only given 1 star because 0 wasn't an option.

Vile Sunday dinner. Prawn cocktail starter - no sauce, no tomatoes, no cucumber, no bread and butter, no plate, and a bucket full of paprika.

Roast pork accompanied by string and hair. Broccoli raw, roast beef cremated. Stuffing and mash out of a packet. Burger raw.

Vile, vile, vile.

Service was fine but the meal was tiny! I was left feeling hungry and disappointed in the bite-size portion. This place must have changed hands because it was always a decent meal before.

After just having a Sunday dinner here at The Peacock 03/06/2018, I can only describe the meal as terrible.

The parsnips were undercooked, the cauliflower cheese was hard & tasteless, the beef was chewy. Presentation was horrendous.

Our grandson, who has a good appetite, left half of his kids meal as well. Why you are given a plate the size you are for the small dessert you get is beyond me.

As you may have guessed, we will not be returning.
