Recently held my son's 30th birthday. Great food, great beer. Fantastic night all round.

Whilst better known for its beer than its food, this was top notch pub grub as it should be. No change in the kitchen! "Oh pay at the bar". We did.
The steak pie was good, wholesome food, perhaps a little over-gravied for some tastes. The service was extraordinarily quick.
Not expensive and very good value
