Amazing food, a little pricy but worth every penny for a plate full of yummy food. I go there every opportunity I get. I love my food, Blue Mood Cafe is simply the best in Sheffield. The staff are polite and very friendly.

A group of friends and I went to Bella Roma last night. The food was very good and staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating.

We have booked again for a Christmas meal.

Thank you to the staff of Bella Roma for an enjoyable evening.

We have had many meals at Rushour and have always had a great time. Food is excellent and served from an open kitchen. Everything is well priced. Service always comes with a smile. The place is smart, trendy and spotlessly clean. We love it!

Just to let you know there are a variety of sushi and hot starters and mains, including noodle bowls, donburi (rice with toppings), stir fries and salads. They have a set meal in the style of a bento box (kind of a Japanese lunch box). There is a lunch menu of 5 plates of sushi for £7.95.

Overall, the food is great. The sushi is top notch, much better attention to detail than I've seen in other sushi places in Sheffield (WasabiSabi, YO Sushi). It is also affordable for what you get, as true sashimi-quality and fresh fish is hard to come by in Sheffield.

Timings are also good and I've never had to wait long for food, the waiting service is top notch. However I've never seen it at max capacity so have no idea what they can do under high pressure.

The best Chinese food I have eaten. Always hot, fresh and unbelievably tasty and very good value for money. And the portion sizes are very generous.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. There is sometimes a little wait when busy but is definitely worth it.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant and it is my restaurant of choice for any occasion.

Went here for Sunday lunch with my partner and three year old little boy.

Apparently this pub had been taken over by new owners in Sept 2009, it's the same people that own the Millstone in Hathersage, so I wasn't too worried by the previous reviews, as we know the Millstone is good.

We were seated in the conservatory area, which was very warm and nice.

Service was very friendly and very attentive.

My partner and I both had the pumpkin soup for starter and then I had mushroom risotto, which came with chunky chips and garden salad, while my partner and little boy both had the Sunday dinner with all the trimmings.

I thought the food was very good and very tasty. The only thing my other half grumbled about was the size of the meal - there was too much! (Never done that before.)

Pricing was simple 1, 2 or 3 courses, £9.95, £12.95 or £15.95.

I would definitely return here for another lunchtime meal.

Wow! Why is this place not full every night? The restaurant feels warm and inviting, and we were offered a small plate of walnuts and olives at our table.

We decided to choose different foods so that we could swap. We had warm starters, which incorporated aubergine. These were a sort of dip and were accompanied by generous portions of a flat bread.

For mains we had the lamb fillet kebab and a chicken casserole in a pomegranate sauce. The lamb fillet was so tender and the stew was tasty with a sweet but earthy flavour - very tasty! Both of the mains were accompanied with rice and salad.

We were absolutely stuffed (beware the delicious bread) so didn't have a dessert. We finished with a glass each of Persian tea. The service was attentive without feeling we were being rushed.

Oh, forgot to say, it's BYOB [ed: bring your own booze] and I don't think they charged corkage. Our total bill was under £30. Altogether excellent, with only one criticism - enough with the James Blunt CD!

Disappointing is the main word for my experience in Chez Lahlou last night! I had wanted to go for ages and was really looking forward to it. It was like eating in my Granny's front room. Lots of trashy little ornaments that were just mismatched. The decor was so 1970s... dated.

The food was brilliant, very flavoursome. However, we ordered a house wine and it was Italian. I'm vegetarian and there was virtually nothing on the menu. I asked the waitress if they could do me a vegetarian meal and she replied that they did some lovely ravioli... in a French restaurant? I ended up having peppers and aubergines stuffed with mushrooms and rice. Nice, but the portions were enormous. Way too much. It could easily had fed six. So much waste in this day and age is simply distasteful.

Asked for tea after. They don't do it! So had coffee and mine had strange bits in it. Asked for a new one and the waitress simply threw the old stuff away, wiped the cup and refilled it. Awful.

And then my favourite experience, the toilet. Nasty. Down a fusty old corridor that smelled of stale socks. The toilet was filthy. The skirting boards were falling off, paper was peeling off and it was just manly!

All in all really, really poor. I wanted it to be so good. Disappointed and won't be going back. £18 was not worth it at all. Go somewhere else!

My partner and I went for a meal to Portofino and have to say it was one of the best Italians we have had. We were greeted in a genuine and friendly way, before sitting in the stylish but cosy bar for a drink.

The menu is extensive, with a wide range of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. We ordered mixed seafood platter and Funghi Sorrento (mushrooms with prawns, tomato and mozzarella) to start. Presentation was fantastic, and the food was delicious.

For mains, I ordered fillet steak with cream and peppercorns, and my partner ordered pasta with chicken, cream and tomatoes. The food smelt, looked and tasted beautiful, and you can see your food being cooked through the open kitchen. My steak was especially delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavour.

A very clean and open restaurant, with a romantic atmosphere and we didn't feel rushed at any time and were able to take our time during and after the meal.

Coffees are made in the traditional Italian way and staff are extremely attentive and helpful.

An absolutely fantastic experience and a restaurant that we will definitely be returning to in the near future! Would recommend to all.

This was by far the best Indian meal I have ever had in a restaurant. The waiters were very polite and attentive. We were seated straight away and we didn't have to wait too long for our meal.

I am vegetarian and my meal looked and tasted fantastic. We were offered poppadoms and pickle tray when we were seated. Then for starter I had 'Trio of Onion Bhajis', which came with a little side salad that had some kind of coriander dressing that tasted divine.

For my main I had vegetable Rehzla (I think that's how you spell it), which was vegetables in a caramelized onion and green chilli sauce, pilau rice and a Saag Paneer side dish (Indian cheese and spinach cooked in spices) that was equally as delicious.

On arrival, it did look a bit pricey for an out of town restaurant, but for the standard of food I didn't think it was that bad. The total came to 40-something pounds, which for two, including drinks, I thought was very reasonable.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We have been eating here for over 6 years and never had a bad meal.

We try other Indian restaurants and always end up going back. We always go when its a special occasion so we are guaranteed a good meal.

Think the prices compare with all other Indian restaurants, so best to pay for the best. The pickles are the best around. Its a bit out of the way but worth the travel.

Having been to the restaurant numerous times, it had been a while and as it was a special occasion and the food always excellent we booked a table on 2nd October for 8:30PM.

Having read the other review on Artisan by a diner who was also in on the same night I have to agree totally.

We got seated an hour late, the wine ordered was not on the table as promised and had to be asked for again. It was rushed and no real apology except that someone had booked in other reservations when they shouldn't have. A complimentary drink or even a coffee would have gone someway towards an apology. The food was excellent, but at top notch prices the service should have matched.

Mrs Smith was working that evening so I would have hoped that with her experience, even if mistakes were made she would have spotted the diners that all got seated late (there were a few) and attempted to try and smooth things over.

Hence we won't be dining there again for sometime - very disappointing.

We went to Ask to celebrate 2 birthdays. We had to wait to be seated even though we had booked and could see our table was empty.

Although the food was good when we got it we had to wait ages and then they forgot one of the main courses. The same happened with the desserts, we almost gave up on them.

Overall the food was good but the service was so slow we will not be going back.

I couldn't disagree more, when we visited Zizzi's, the service was impeccable. I had the lemon chicken dish and it was quite simply delicious. The lemon sorbet we had for dessert was absolutely the best I have ever tasted.

It's not a bog standard Italian restaurant, Zizzi's offers something different. If you want chequered tablecloths and wine in a basket you'll be disappointed, but if you want excellent Italian food that's a bit more imaginative then this is the place to go.

Went last weekend and going again tonight. Food delicious and staff very friendly.

Can take your own bottle of wine or whatever you fancy as well!

Food is very decently priced, too. Love this new place, absolutely nothing to fault!

Having been before I thought I would take my wife for an evening meal on our first wedding anniversary, just for an hour without the kids.

We sat in the alleyway which led to the toilets. This was awkward because when people needed the toilet we felt that we had to hutch up to let them past.

The food though was great, but the service wasn't. We didn't get our starter at all, the waiter said he would bring the food all together, but all we got was the main meal and that was it. We waited and waited, then in the end we paid and left.

The waiter got the order all wrong (I don't think he spoke much English) and never apologised or we would have stayed until it got sorted. Because we were on such a short time scale we had to go.

I must say these authentic establishments serve fantastic food but the service should be better.

Having booked a table for 9PM we were taken to our table at 9:50PM.

We were nearly ready to walk out without eating. We had ordered our meal and asked for a wine menu, which never materialised. Fishcake starters were bland and unseasoned. As a result of sitting down later than expected and complaining about the fact, we feel our meal was served rather too quickly which totally spoiled our evening. Yes we could have asked for more time between courses but it was far too late for us to eat by this time.

The atmosphere was too noisy and the tables were cramped together.

This is not the first visit to Artisan but it will be the last.

We were offered coffee free of charge but all in all we will not be returning.

Went on Saturday night. Duty manager very friendly, happy to accommodate us when we asked for a different table, but apart from that the experience was pretty grim:

- food was frankly poor - a big chunk of pate, which was OK, but with 2 tiny pieces of toast. A pasta dish that looked like it had been knocked up in 5 minutes then thrown together. Undercooked vegetables. Plaice that was 99% bone with a thin covering of tasteless white meat.

- they kept forgetting to bring stuff we'd ordered - wine, potatoes.

- you have to call repeatedly to get the attention of the waiting staff. This was bizarre since they weren't busy and there were several staff just hanging around near the bar.

To be fair, they did give us complimentary desserts, one of which (the creme brulee) was OK, the other (lemon posset) gave the impression of being made from the same mix as the creme brulee with a bit of lemon added.

This will sound odd, but the most irritating thing was the OTT 'we're incredibly customer focused' performance by the staff. Fulsome apologies for the various cock-ups, a lengthy description of each of the specials "this is my favourite", "I really recommend this dish" etc etc but it started to feel like they'd been trained by X Factor competitors - "here's how to gush really, really sincerely." I couldn't help but wonder why, if they're so sincere, they can't get the basics right.

The bill for the two of us (2 courses from their set menu with a glass of wine and a bottle of water) came to £26.50, and like I said, they threw in free desserts. Cheap? Yes. Good value? No.

I have been here several times now. Going back tomorrow, in fact.

Food is delicious and freshly prepared. Spices use is subtle. You can taste the food. Nobody ever leaves this place hungry! A good range of veggie options.

Service is friendly and helpful.

Decor pleasant with Middle Eastern theme. Relaxing atmosphere.

Prices are very reasonable, too.
