We visited the restaurant back in October 2010 with 2 of our friends. We all had starters and main courses and we were all really impressed with food, all very fresh and tasty.

Would recommend this place to anyone, it was great.

Myself and my wife have been eating here on and off for the past 4 years.

We have always had excellent service and made very welcome on every occasion.

Mario serves up wonderful pasta meals and glorious steaks. He also comes up with some great Italian wines.

I have been recommending this restaurant to my friends since our first visit and will remain doing so.

I know this review is late as we visited this restaurant just over a year ago, but I have just noticed a rave review and had to write to give my side of the story. We went to this restaurant on a week-night to celebrate my promotion - prices were reasonable and the service OK.

However, the food was the worst Italian I have ever tasted. I ordered Cannelloni, which was swimming in a pool of orange grease and the filling was disgusting - I told the waitress who seemed unsurprised and removed it from our bill. My partner ordered a seafood pizza, which was soggy and bizarrely covered with crab sticks in lieu of any other sea food. Don't go.

Excellent for pasta and steak. You can bring your own if you want (there's a small corkage charge) but the wine list is also decent and fair priced.
