This is a excellent pub for a quick bite to eat, lunch or diner. Good food and friendly staff.

Although I wasn't expecting excellence at this pub / restaurant I certainly didn't expect the quality to be as poor as it was. The food was awful, I ordered the ciabatta with cheese garlic bread - it arrived black, the waiter who bought it over could visibly see it was totally black and burnt, but still served it.

I had the steak, which was average but the chips where cold and soggy. My husband's cottage pie was awful, like a puree baby food and the potato was obviously powdered. It left us feeling very nauseas and we didn't stay for desert!
