The lamb shank is wonderful, tender and slides off the bone like a dream. Friendly staff and all food is freshly prepared, which is nice to see.

Called here for Sunday lunch with my partner and was pleasantly surprised.

We had prawn cocktail for starters, which was excellent, followed by a roast beef dinner. The portions were generous, the beef was tender and the Yorkshire pudding and veg was good. The only thing that spoiled it was that the gravy was definitely out of a packet and ruined what would have been a good Sunday dinner.

However, there was a good ambience about the place and we shall return, as it was good value for money.
