We ate there last night and had an excellent meal. We had chicken and chorizo salad, and black pudding for starter. Then a steak and prawn surf and turf and Moroccan lamb.
All the food was tasty, delicious and fresh and cooked in an open kitchen, so you can see your food being cooked.
Couple of points to note. Although the restaurant is fully licensed, on Saturday night you can bring your own wine and we weren't charged for corkage! Also, you can only pay with cash, no cards.
The best meal we've had out in a while!

My husband & I visited 16/07/2011 after reading about the restaurant in the Food & Drink Yorkshire 2012, as we didn't know the restaurant existed and we only work round the corner.
From stepping into the restaurant to leaving, the service was excellent and the staff very attentive. The meal was absolutely amazing and definitely value for money. We will definitely be returning.

I have reviewed this restaurant before but a visit 23rd May 2011 encourages me to write again.
On Tuesdays they do a 'best of British', which is three courses for £10. I had a very nice leek and potato soup and then chose the fish, chips and mushy peas and this prompts me to write, as I have just recently has this meal at a famous Hotel in the Cotswolds with two stars. Rushour's fish and chips was twice as good again and much cheaper. With a choice of sweets, the value and quality will please everyone.

This restaurant continues to give excellent good food at very reasonable prices. Very clean and spotless everywhere. Open cooking so you can see there is nothing to hide.
Most enjoyable and highly recommended. People always say we will be back soon.
Has a good 'specials board' including fish. There are specials nights.
Try it for value and a good experience.

We have had many meals at Rushour and have always had a great time. Food is excellent and served from an open kitchen. Everything is well priced. Service always comes with a smile. The place is smart, trendy and spotlessly clean. We love it!

Had a meal at the Rushhour last night, absolutely great and such value for money.
Service is excellent and food very fresh - can see it all being prepared. Such a shame that it was quite empty for a Saturday night.
If you enjoy good fresh food then give it a try.
