We have added a complete listing for Upstairs@PJtaste, a private dining and event space located at 54 Staniforth Road in Attercliffe. The venue serves modern British cuisine.

We have removed Ambar restaurant, formerly of 740 Ecclesall Road near Hunters Bar, as it has closed permanently.

AEK Trio


We are delighted to welcome to La Mama the AEK trio. Expect jazz and Latin treats from Sheffield's Montuno stalwarts Kent Roach, Errol Francis and Alex Henderson. This will be an exceptional evening of live music; please book ahead to reserve a table!

A firm favourite returns to La Mama this month. Andrew Cleggis a talented Spanish and Latin guitarist, who takes passionate rhythms and beautiful melodies to create a wonderful fusion of sound. Taking influences from Flamenco and the music of South America, the BBC once said 'Andrew is a rising star'.

Andrew has played in Europe and festivals around the country, and this is a wonderful opportunity to see him playing live in an intimate environment.

John Hattersley Wines

We are delighted to be hosting a wine tasting event in conjunction with the superb John Hattersley wines of Bakewell. Tickets are available for £35 per person. On the evening you can enjoy a hand picked selection of wines accompanied by a special tapas menu. For more information please just get in touch. The evening starts at 7pm.

Christmas at La Mama!

We are now taking Christmas bookings for December. We have a festive party set menu at £22.95 per person. If you would like to receive a copy of our Christmas menu please just get in touch.

The restaurant is available for free private hire over the festive period each Monday and Sunday (minimum 25 people). We have two menus available for private hire -- £14.50pp lunch buffet menu and a £20.50pp evening buffet menu. Please just call or email if you would like to discuss a private hire booking.

We are also offering our "Bottomless Fizz" offer throughout Christmas. You simply need to pay £15 per person to receive a bottomless glass of bubbles all night. The offer runs from December 1st and is available every night of the week through December.
