Popular Sheffield jazz band The Seven Shades will be making another appearance at La Mama, Saturday 11th August. Expect to hear swing jazz, bossa nova and oodles of the 'old classics' including the likes of Cole Porter, Louie Armstrong, Miles Davis, Antonio Jobim, Wes Montgomery and Duke Ellington.
Seven Shades are a trio consisting of John Draper (piano and vocals), Ricardo Moreira on drums & percussion and Stephen Mosel (double bass). Performance starts 7PM. Phone ahead to book a table... don't miss out.

From September 3rd we are pleased to announce that we will be open Monday evenings. Each Monday from this date forward we will be serving our popular tapas happy hour offer all night. So each Monday evening from September 3rd you can enjoy 4 tapas for £12 all night.

September 14th to 16th sees the return of the fabulous Sheffield Food Festival. During the festival we are offering a children's cookery class. All children and parents are welcome to learn how to cook a choice of traditional Latin tapas dishes. Children will be taught how to create and cook a choice of dishes from our menu - free for all the family.
