We have added a basic listing for the Orangery restaurant situated in Losehill House Hotel & Spa near the village of Hope just outside Sheffield. The Orangery serves modern British cuisine.

We have added a basic listing for the Scotsman Pack Inn on School Lane at Hathersage. The Scotsman Pack Inn is a pub-restaurant.

We have removed the Boardwalk restaurant, formerly of Valley Centertainment on Broughton lane in Attercliffe from our website, as it has closed down.

We have added a basic listing for ChaoBaby restaurant in Meadowhall Shopping Centre. ChaoBaby is a Thai buffet-style restaurant.

We have added a basic listing for Bilals restaurant at 49 Market Street in Eckington. Bilals is an Indian restaurant.

We have removed Saagar restaurant, formerly of 49 Market Street in Eckington, as it has closed down. We will add its replacement shortly.

La Mama Latin American restaurant in Nether Edge has announced some events for March 2012:

Mother's Day - Sunday 18th March - Treat your mama to a memorable 'Dia de la Madre' at La Mama this year. Choose from our delicious tapas menu or from our speciality main dishes blackboard and give your mother a real Latin treat.

Live Jazz band "Seven Shades" - Saturday 31st March - our popular live music night Musiquita en Vivo returns for 2012 this month with a debut performance from Sheffield band Seven Shades. Expect to hear swing jazz, bossa nova and oodles of the 'old classics', including the likes of Cole Porter, Louie Armstrong, Miles Davis, Antonio Jobim, Wes Montgomery and Duke Ellington.

Seven Shades are a trio consisting of John Draper (piano and vocals), Ricardo Moreira on drums & percussion and Stephen Mosel (double bass). Performance starts 7PM. Phone ahead to book a table... don't miss out.

Exposed Awards - please vote for La Mama...

La Mama is very pleased to be taking part in this years Exposed Awards. Celebrating all that is fine in the city of Sheffield, La Mama is participating in the 'Best Restaurant' - out of town category.

Swanky Frank's restaurant at 722a Chesterfield Road in Woodseats is running a two course midweek menu deal Monday to Thursday where customers can choose from several Swanky Frank's favourites for just £9.95. Details can be found at http://www.swankyfranks.co.uk/midweek-menu-jan12.html

They are also running their usual menu on Mother's Day, Sunday 18th April, where mums (and dads) don't have to worry about paying for the kids, as they're still be running their "Kids Eat Free" deal from 12PM - 4PM, as they do every Saturday and Sunday.
