Dusty Miller Added

We have added a basic listing for Dusty Miller restaurant on Sheffield Road just outside Barlborough.


Indiana Restaurant Removed

We have removed Indiana restaurant, formerly of 280 London Road, Highfield, from our website, as it has closed down.


Beehive Added

We have added a basic listing for the Beehive pub-restaurant at 240-246 West Street in Sheffield city centre. The Beehive used to be Bar S1 most recently, having been called the Beehive in the past, too.


Kahn's Closed

We have removed Kahn's, formerly of 167-171 West Street in Sheffield city centre, from our website, as it has closed permanently.


Otto's Moroccan Mezze Menu

Otto's restaurant, of 344 Sharrow Vale Road, Hunters Bar, will be offering a new Moroccan mezze menu during Sheffield Food Festival week (4th - 10th July).

The menu includes 3 Moroccan mezze and a drink for £8 and will be available as an early bird option from 5PM - 7PM from Monday 4th July to Saturday 9th July, and all day Sunday 10th July from 1PM - 10PM.

This menu will also be available for Sharrow Vale Market Day on Sunday 17th July.

Revolucion de Cuba Added

We have added a basic listing for Revolucion de Cuba on Mappin Street in the city centre. Revolucion de Cuba is a bar-restaurant that serves Cuban and Latin American food and is on the site of the former Bia Hoi.


Bia Hoi Removed

We have removed Bia Hoi, formerly of 1 Mappin Street in Sheffield city centre from our website, as it has now been succeeded by Revolucion de Cuba, which we will be adding shortly.


The Great Gatsby Added

We have added a basic listing for The Great Gatsby bar/restaurant at 73-75 Division Street in the city centre. The Great Gatsby used to be Olive Bar & Restaurant.




Fischer's Restaurant Added

We have added a basic listing for Fischer's restaurant at Baslow Hall in the village of Baslow near Sheffield.


Olive Bar & Restaurant Removed

We have removed Olive Bar & Restaurant, formerly of 73-75 Division Street in Sheffield city centre from our website, as it has closed down. It has been replaced by a bar / restaurant called The Great Gatsby, which we will add shortly.


Gracie's Diner Added

We have added a complete listing for Gracie's Diner at 552-554 Langsett Road, Hillsborough. Gracie's Diner is a coffee house / cafe by day and an American BBQ rib diner from 5PM.


Musical Nights at La Mama

La Mama tapas bar and restaurant on Abbeydale Road, Nether Edge, has announced some live music evenings for June 2011:

June 15th: Son Para Todos - creatively fusing Latin rhythms with Colombian Salsa, Spanish Flamenco and Cuban Son this popular Sheffield band are a melting pot of styles and energy.

June 22nd: Paul Newman - very talented local singer/guitarist performing popular Latin & jazz classics from an impressive repertoire overflowing with Bossa Nova, Cuban Son and songs from the last century.

June 29th: act to be confirmed.

Saturday 9th July 2011 (11AM - 2:30PM) 'El Gusto de La Mama' - Taste Something New:

"Visit La Mama on this Saturday and try a splendid and delicious selection of our authentic, speciality Latin Tapas. Individual platters are available for just £3, which include a choice of popular dishes such as Croqueta Chilena, Papas con Mojo, Sopaipillas al Pebre, Berenjenas al Horno and Pulpo. So should you wish to try marinated Octopus (Pulpo) or a delightful Chilean pastry (Sopaipillas) served with a traditional South American relish (Pebre), we would love to welcome you to La Mama."

Saturday 9th July 2011 (12PM - 1:30PM) 'Sopaipillas Baking' - Children's Cooking Class:

"All children - and parents - are welcome to La Mama to learn how to cook your own Sopaipillas. Sopaipillas are a traditional, lightly fried pumpkin bread that are served throughout Chile. Eaten as a snack or part of a meal, Sopaipillas are a trusty part of the average Chilean's diet. Children will be taught how to create the traditional bread and then allowed to shape their Sopaipillas before being cooked. A fun time for the children."

We have added a basic listing for Studio 557 lounge bar & grill at 557 Ecclesall Road, Hunters Bar.


Bungalows And Bears Pub-Restaurant Added

We have added a basic listing for Bungalows And Bears pub-restaurant at The Old Fire Station on Division Street in the city centre.



Double Dutch Pancake Bar Removed

We have removed the Double Dutch Pancake Bar, formerly of 21 Orchard Square in Sheffield city centre, because it is no longer open.


The Mediterranean Updated

We now have a complete listing for The Mediterranean restaurant, of 271 Sharrow Vale Road, which is now listed at Hunters Bar rather than Sharrow.
